The 7th Graduate Business Students Symposium was held at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University.

The symposium, held at the Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank Library, was attended by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Oğuz Gürsoy, Prof. Dr. Ömer Tekşen, and Prof. Dr. Hakan Öner, as well as the Rector's Advisor and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. İsmail Çelik, Symposium Period President Prof. Dr. Durmuş Acar, Director of the Institute of Social Sciences Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Buğra Hamşioğlu, academic staff, and many graduate students.

After a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, the symposium continued with a music performance, and the opening speech was delivered by the Symposium Period President Prof. Dr. Durmuş Acar. In his speech, Acar emphasized the power of knowledge, stating that knowledge has become the determining force in international competition and said, "Knowledge has become the number one force in international competition. Turkey, knowing this reality, has increased both the need for academics who produce knowledge and the number of universities where knowledge is produced, and continues to do so. Because countries with well-educated human resources are in an effective position compared to countries with large populations that are uneducated or have insufficient education, even if their populations are small. Rapid developments in communication technology lead to the doubling of total knowledge every few years. For this reason, countries have extended their education periods and expanded higher education opportunities. As a natural consequence, the increasing demand in the market for qualified labor and the desire for self-improvement have also increased interest in graduate education. In short, graduate education has become crucial in meeting both the country's need for qualified personnel and the need for academics and research.".

Following this, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Tekşen, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. İsmail Çelik, and Director of the Institute of Social Sciences Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Buğra Hamşioğlu delivered speeches.

After the speeches, the symposium moved on to its sessions. Over the course of 3 days, various topics will be discussed at the symposium, including artificial intelligence, financial wellbeing, protection of registered trademark rights, sustainable cultural tourism management, the impact of urbanization on carbon emissions, digital transformation of human resources, civil aviation, the 3+1 on-the-job training model, managerial issues in family businesses, beauty perception from a postmodern brand perspective, influencers in the cosmetics sector, and many more.
